Gainesville has three main bridal stores. Jay's Bridal and Special Occasion along with Solutions Bridal are locally owned and operated. Gainesville is also home to the national chain David's Bridal. Keep and eye out for 4 bridal expos hosted by Jay's and Solutions indendependly. It's a great place to find vendors.

According to Enrique this is the most important part of any wedding. A wonderful cake can make or break and event. Gainesville is fortunate to have many great cake makers. And remember, they don't just do wedding cakes. No holiday is complete without a beatiful cake or dessert tray.

Yum Yum Yum. No rubber chicken here. Our favorite caterers are listed here and believe me when I tell you that we have put them to the test. Anybody who knows Enrique, knows that he knows food. You can't go wrong with any of of our recommended caterers!

I don't know how strongly I can say that brides and grooms should avoid using an ipod for their entertainment. There is a reason these entertainers are called professional. They keep the party going. Profession master of ceremonies are worth every penny.

It must be something in the water in Gainesville; We have the funniest wedding officiants in town. They can perform classic traditional ceremonies or funky fun new-age nuptuals. You can't but smile when these people walk in the room.

30 or 1000 guests? Gainesville has venues for all size weddings and wedding types; but don't hesitate, venues are high saught after during the peak wedding season. Guys. The $29 discount tuxedo might be comfortable in the store, but will it be after 8 hours? I don't think so. A few extra dollars might not only make you feel better, you'll also look better. Most brides think that wedding planners are not affordable. I beg to differ. Most planners pay for themselves. Not only do they know the best places and vendors, they can usually get you deals not available to the average bride.
